The Project
Florim by Makro springs from the coming-together of a major leader in the ceramics industry and a young company specialising in technical products for the bathroom.
The aim of this collaboration is the development of a new system intended for the contract sector, for designing bathrooms using ceramic surfaces by developing concepts arising from state-of-the-art concepts and technologies.
The System
A system’s strength lies in the overall balance created between its individual component parts: each element must be functional and complementary to the others.
In the bathroom, the variety and diversity of the products involved has always prevented professionals from drawing up an integrated design project: for the first time, Florim by Makro allows the creation of a stylistic and functional relationship between the furnishings and ceramic surfaces, to satisfy every type of design requirement.
The Ceramic Bathroom
Until today, the use of ceramic tiles in bathrooms has been restricted to the covering of walls and floors, in slabs and modules of ever-increasing size. The Florim by Makro system allows architects to discover new forms of expression: high-tech built-under washbasins, showers and washbasin counters which are extremely easy to install, offered with an integrated programme of matching coverings and ceramic trims and accessories.
